As Category 5 Hurricane Melissa devastated Western Jamaica on October 28, 2025, thousands remain without basic aid. We're bringing hope to those who need it most.
The Crisis
As the world looks on with disbelief at the severe human suffering and devastation that Category 5 Hurricane Melissa unleashed on Western Jamaica on October 28, 2025, relief has not reached a significant number of victims.
Videos and photographs are incapable of capturing the carnage and shared human suffering, although we have attempted to provide a glimpse here. This relief effort is intended to bring some measure of relief to communities that have been left behind.
Our Mission: Basic Human Needs First
Our effort will focus on providing essential support in the short term to help in rehabilitating two underserved communities. The funds will be disbursed to a trusted team we have created to operate at ground zero in Jamaica. They will determine what is needed - food, clothing, medical supplies, rebuilding, counseling - whatever we can provide based on your contribution.
Who We're Helping
Two communities that were directly impacted and desperately need support
Bluefields, Westmoreland
One of the communities that was directly hit and marooned by Hurricane Melissa. The people of Bluefields face immense challenges as they work to rebuild their lives and community from the ground up. Basic necessities like food, clean water, and shelter remain scarce.
Learn Smart Academy
A small school in Montego Bay for autistic and other special needs children where similar levels of destruction took place. These vulnerable children and their families need our support now more than ever to restore their safe learning environment and continue their education.
